Design description
Our travel and crawler gearboxes are renowned for their high quality, robust construction and optimized sealing systems. Thanks to an axial face seal between the fixed and rotating gearbox part, there is no chance of dirt or moisture getting into the gearbox, even in extreme operating conditions. They are also particularly easy to maintain. For example, oil can be conveniently changed from the outside.
One of the highlights of our product range is our unique, internationally renowned switchable hydrostatic wheel gearbox for independent suspensions. This compact and powerful modular planetary gearbox sets the technical standard.
Hydraulically ventilated spring pressure multi-disk brakes can be directly integrated in the wheel carrier of most of our drive gearboxes, making them a compact unit consisting of the gearbox, bearing and brake. With larger traction drive gearboxes, spur wheel gearboxes can be fitted as a preliminary stage, which means that several drive motors can be used.
