We manufactured a slewing gearbox for a well-known German industrial plant manufacturer. The production is based on an old set of drawings provided by the customer. During production, in consultation with the customer, some improvements and adjustments compared to the old production drawings were made in order to bring the gearbox up to the current state of the art. On January 29th, 2021, the gearbox was accepted in the presence of our customer through a load-free test run lasting several hours.

In the second week of the new year, a gear assembly consisting of several interlocking large gear components was completed. In addition to the dimensional control, the agreed function test was carried out in the presence of the customer. All examinations and tests were carried out to the complete satisfaction of our well-known German customer, so that we could look forward to a follow-up order shortly after acceptance.

Two more of our MS074C06 mill gearboxes were completed in December for our Ukrainian customer. We already delivered the first gearboxes of this type in 2018. Our customer is so satisfied with the 6 gearboxes that have been delivered so far, which reliably drive his aluminum mills, that he has already ordered gearbox no. 7 and 8.
